The Full Monty – in rehearsal
The Full Monty is one of those shows that needs no introduction. It’s place in the hearts of the UK is guaranteed! But have you seen the musical version? It’s a little bit different from the film version, as it’s transported to Buffalo in the USA, but the sentiment is the same and, of course, the ending is the same.
Rehearsals are now under way for our April production of this most-famous show, which will take place at the George Lawton Hall in Mossley. The cast have been rehearsing now for the past week, following the Christmas break, and so Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings are now Full Monty time!
The cast has a vast amount of on-stage experience and we also welcome several newcomers to the MAODS company.
We’ve not rehearsed the final scene but we’ve no doubt that it will be behind closed doors for the first few times!
Tickets are now on sale and we’re expecting another sell-out, so our advice is to book early.
