Set in the latino neighbourhood of Washington Heights in New York, life for the residents has always been hard - but it’s set to get harder as the neighbourhood is becoming ‘gentrified’ and they may lose their homes and businesses. If that sounds a little dull it isn’t but we’d spoil it if we told you the ending!

In the Heights is a show like no other. After record-breaking performances on Broadway and London it’s set for a national tour and, possibly a film! The music, dance and story are unique with a vibrance not often seen on stage.

Winner of 3 Olivier awards and nominated for 9 WhatsOnStage awards, In the Heights was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the man behind the critically-acclaimed Hamilton, which is soon to hit the West End—and it’s sold out already!

In The Heights addresses the issues affecting today’s society through song, hip-hop and street dance. It’s an eclectic mix of salsa, merengue, soul, hip-hop and street dance, all rounded off by  a vibrant, lively story that never stops exciting the soul!
