Sleeping Beauty – The Musical – World Premiere Production
Book and lyrics by Ian Curran. Music by Simon Hanson and Peter Vint
The legendary fairy tale now brought to life in a brand new, enchanting musical.
Sleeping Beauty – The Musical, follows the story of courageous Aurora as she journeys through self-discovery to find her own path in the face of adversity.
Cursed as a child, Aurora has been raised in hiding until the day comes when she can return to the Kingdom and take her rightful place as Princess of Australis. But with a chance meeting with Prince Perrault that could promise her dream life, will she instead pursue her own version of happily-ever-after?
With the constant threat born from the jealousy and wickedness of the evil Hellisent, the story culminates in the ultimate battle of good versus evil.
With a new spin on an old tale, this magical, heart-warming story married with a beautiful score of all original songs, will be sure to captivate audiences of all ages. Showing that if you follow your dreams, no matter how challenging, then what you once thought was “make believe” might just come true after all.
