Our Woodend Mill theatre workshop is home to both MAODS and our Next Generation Youth Theatre. All our rehearsals take place at the Mill where we have two rehearsal suites and a scenery workshop. The workshops were constructed from a bare shell by our own stage staff over a period of nearly 12 months. We now have a fully functional stage area with lighting, plus meeting rooms, offices, kitchen facilities and a scenic workshop. The premises are fully alarmed with fire alarms and CCTV.

The workshops are also where our Next Generation group meets and performs small productions to showcase their work. We are expanding the staging facilities so we can put on larger productions at Woodend Mill although all our major productions will continue to take place at the George Lawton Hall, Mossley, our theatrical ’home’ for over 30 years.
